This newest feature is excellent for anyone who uses GPT for “one specific line of business” (ie: a digital marketer or agency)

Setting your custom instructions (for GPT Plus accounts only):

  1. Name > Settings and Beta
  2. Click on Beta Features and turn ON Custom Instructions
  3. Click the “…” next to your name and choose Custom Instructions
  4. Fill in the 2 different types of custom instructions — here’s an example:

While it’s not great if you have multiple businesses and utilize GPT as a “different role” among them (ie: you’re a doctor but moonlight as a digital creator unrelated to medicine), it’s an excellent tool to reduce redundancy in prompting for things you consistently find yourself needing to write/prompt for.

Other exciting (and actually useful/daily applicable) developments in AI lately:

  1. Humata: use AI to “speak” to research papers. Get your research (or understanding of it) done at warp speed.
  2. Chatmind: make mindmaps in seconds based on one simple idea you give it
  3. ChatGPT opened for Android users last week
